From the President's desk.....

I truly hope everyone is enjoying the summer.  My name is David Reddy and I was just elected President of The Lake Erie Landlord Association by the Board of Directors at the June board meeting.  This is truly a great honor for me and I would like to thank the Directors for putting their faith in me.  This organization was founded to educate and inform our local housing providers.  It also provides them with a platform to voice their ideas and concerns.  It is our duty as members to continue this great tradition that LELA has left in the community since 1988.

Over the last 3 years Vassie Scott has served as President of LELA.  During this time Vassie has displayed tremendous leadership and integrity.  We would like to thank Vassie for all his service to our organization.  He guided us through some challenging times and we appreciate all he has done.

There has been many great individuals that have contributed to this organization.  Rich and Denise Cieslak, Russ Harkins, Kent Sutton, Jack Green, Bill and Kathy Barney, Joe and Linda Kinder, Jon Alheit, Steve Taylor, Mark Schroeder and Chuck Holtzman to just name a few.  There are many others.  We would like to thank Linda Kinder and Lourdes Hardy for managing our office and we appreciate all they do.

Moving forward we are going to need everyone's help and support.  We are facing challenging economic times as individuals and as an organization.  If your interested in serving on a committee, as a Director or just assisting at the monthly meeting please let me or Linda know.  It will take all of us to keep moving LELA forward into the future as one of the most prominent organizations in Northeast Ohio.

Thanks,

David M. Reddy
